Customer question
How a customer would ask it.
Short answer
One or two sentences. The agent leads with this.
Fair Trade is a global movement and certification ensuring equitable, fair, and safe conditions throughout a product's creation, with investments in communities rather than exploitation.
Full answer
Markdown. Keep exact numbers, dates and conditions.
Fair Trade is defined as a global movement made up of a diverse network of producers, companies, consumers, advocates, and organizations putting people and planet first. More plainly said, Fair Trade is a certification that means you as a consumer can assume that every point in the creation of the goods in your hands was equitable, fair and safe. It also means that the communities where the product is grown are being invested in, not exploited.
